REDEFINING ILS – NEW YORK

Vesttoo recently hosted the inaugural "Redefining ILS" conference at Cipriani South Street in New York City. The invite-only event, held on March 24th 2023, brought together industry experts from both the capital and insurance markets to discuss the evolution of insurance-linked securities (ILS).

Traditionally, insurance-linked securities have been associated with catastrophe bonds. Vesttoo is at the forefront of innovation in ILS today by expanding the ILS industry by securitizing low-volatility insurance lines in the life and P&C sectors, which offer investors diversification and uncorrelated returns without the volatility associated with cat bonds. 

The Redefining ILS conference focused on this growing asset class. Panels and keynote discussions covered topics such as better matching risk to capital, how to access this asset class and more.
