As we look at the development of the insurance-linked securities (ILS) market in Asia, always with one eye to the future, this year we focus on defining the next generation of the sector. We will explore the challenges to the market in Asia, which perils are most likely to benefit from alternative capital, and ways to expand the remit of the ILS market and spread the word of alternative capital beyond catastrophe risks.
